Avellum Partners is the legal partner of the II Annual Legal Conference “Mergers and Acquisitions in Ukraine”, which will be held on 27 November 2009 in Kyiv.
This year the participants of the conference will be offered to discuss the following questions:

Features and criteria for tax, financial and legal estimation of applicants in new conditions.
The reasons of a calm on the M&A market in the banking sector.
Particular attention will be paid to the effective application of certain English law instruments in transactions carried out in Ukraine. In the course of the discussion Mykola Stetsenko, the Managing Partner of Avellum Partners, will speak on “Peculiarities of cross-border M&A transactions. Choice of governing law in cross-border agreements. Application of English law in the Share Sale and Purchase Agreements”.
