Glib Bondar

Glib Bondar is a Partner at Avellum Partners. Glib works primarily on banking and finance matters, particularly in the areas of capital markets, bank and corporate lending, securitization and structured finance, project finance and debt restructuring. He has worked on nearly all Eurobond offerings from Ukraine, including sovereign, municipal, bank and corporate debt offering transactions. Glib has significant experience advising borrowers and lenders on various types of credit facilities, securitization and structured finance.

Mr. Bondar is ranked among the leading banking and finance as well as capital markets lawyers in Ukraine by various legal directories, including Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, PLC Which Lawyer? and IFLR 1000. Glib has also been named among the top five leading individuals in Ukraine for International Finance and Securities Law in Ukrainian Law Firms 2009: A Handbook for Foreign Clients.

Glib received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Columbia School of Law (USA) in 2001. He obtained his Master of Laws degree with honors from the Law Department of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University (Ukraine) in 2000.

Glib Bondar is admitted to practice law in Ukraine since 2000.

Prior to joining Avellum Partners, Glib was a partner at the Kyiv office of international law firm Baker & McKenzie. Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie in 2001, he worked in the Kyiv office of one of the international law firms.
